I used to have a misconception that blogging is only for young boys or young girls who want to write their personal diary online. Can you imagine a half century old folk learning blogging , joining myspace and posting in youtube ? Yes , that’s me ! How can I be left behind by the world ? We need to blog ! That is the way of life now. We need social networking , digitally. I am used to social networking , physically , in my business and working life. As a social drinker , I thought going for a few beer at pubs after work is the only way to socialise …

The idea of social networking websites is to let users build online profiles that promote their interests or hobbies or profession and help them connect with friends and friends-of friends around one of those interests. Recently I joined http://www.multiply.com/ by invitation from a friend of mine. I also invited few friends to join. Now I am able to see my friends and their friends profiles. Yes , it is a huge network that multiply very rapidly. I am also a crazy pet lover. I host a pet blog at http://www.petsblogger.com/ . Social networking and participation in blogs and forums has enable me to “meet” more friends in this world who share the same passion about pets like me.

Another example of social networking site is http://www.myspace.com/. Wow …I see there are 100 millions registered users. I have yet to explore its features. LinkedIn and Facebook are other examples of social networking sites. But I do not think I have time for that many networks. I need to blog about my trading journey …
