Who am I ?

I used to be a very disorganised person before I learnt trading. Thank you for reading my blog and hope you can sense from my posts that I am serious and particular about details. Trading has taught me to be a better person beside teaching me how to gain financial freedom. Yes financial freedom ! This is the most sought after dream for most people today. I have a degree from Queensland University of Technology , Australia. That did not allow me to gain financial freedom , other than just an academic achievement. Corporate life is tough and I always look forward to days when I do not have to wake up to my alarm clock , not having to join the morning and evening rush hour , not having to say “good morning” to colleagues , no boss in the room next door , no reports to submit , no one to answer to and no deadlines to meet , and more importantly no office politics …

This weblog is about organising my thoughts and trading ideas together. By no means I am an expert in this field at all. I have a long way to go as far as learning is concerned. I learnt many things the hard way during my trading journey. I put more weight on trading psychology because that was my main weakness during trading. Seminars had taught me the Science of Trading , not the Art. I found the Art of Trading through my own research and through meditation , when wise thoughts flow smoothly into my mind …

I use tradestation as my main trading platform , though I found that they have the worst customer service support. I believe there are many other available platforms out there. I am seriously considering a switch. For stocks and options trading I always love to use TC2005 ( previously known as TC2000 or TCNet ) for scanning. I found this to be world best as far as value for money is concerned. Its features and capability include technical as well as fundamental scanning. For SP-500 trading I am using e-signal as my primary data feed.

This is just a very very short introduction about me for now , as I need to resolve one immediate issue - I realised I am holding the mouse too much longer than holding my spouse’s hand. I am “talking” to the computer screen much more than to anyone else in my family. Oops !
